Superphosphates is a well known and proven brand name.
The phosphorus in this fertilizer is very soluble in water (at least 93% of the phosphorus compounds), thanks to its versatility and wide range of applications.
Taking into account the different needs of the users, superphosphates are produced in the form of granules and powders. Due to the specificity of fertilizing perennial plantations, powdered fertilizer is often used.
In addition to phosphorus, all superphosphates also contain calcium and sulfur. Sulfur carriers are calcium sulphates with different degrees of hydration, which affect the weight of the fertilizer by approx. make up 50% of it. Numerous experiments abroad and in Poland consistently show that sulfur in simple superphosphate has an increasing yield. If the superphosphate is used before sowing, the continuous release of sulphate from the granules will not cause a rapid flushing of sulphate anions, but will ensure an adequate supply of sulfur nutrients until the end of the growing season. According to modern theory, superphosphate should therefore be considered as a phosphorus-sulfur fertilizer.
